项目摘要

防災意識が低いとされる大学生に対して有効な防災教育方法を探ることを目的に、医学中央雑誌WebとCiNiiを用いて厳選した62件の論文を用いて文献検討を行った。結果、「防災に関する講義を受ける」という受動的な取り組みでは、新たな知識を得て関連学習への動機づけになり防災意識の向上がみられたが、効果は一時的であった。一方「学生たちが他者へ防災教育する」といった能動的な取り組みや、自ら歩いてハザードマップを作ったり、防災キャンプを行ったりという体験学習は、学生自身が思考しながら実施することで当事者意識を芽生えさせることに成功しており、その効果が比較的持続していた。さらに、大学生にとって“楽しい”取り組みが、継続の一要因であると考えられた。次に、一般の大学生より防災意識が乏しいとされている看護学生の防災教育の実態を探るために、厳選した19の論文を用いて文献検討を行ったところ、教育方法には「防災訓練」「講義・演習」「被災地訪問」「学生による防災に関する資料作成」の４種類があった。なかでも、居住地域を視野に入れた防災を学生自らが考えられるような仕掛けが必要であること、「学生の主体性」が重要であること、学生の感情を動かす疑似体験やリフレクションを活用した取り組みが効果的であることが示唆された。一般の大学生と看護学生を対象とした２つの研究結果を併せて、防災教育プログラムには、①学生自身が主体的に思考できるもの、②学生の感情を動かすもの、③居住地域が視野に含まれたもの、④“楽しい”取り組み、これら要素を含んだ防災教育プログラムが、当事者意識を萌芽・持続することに繋がると示唆された。さらに2023年１月、エンゲストロームの活動理論の日本における第一人者である山住勝広先生との対談で、「拡張的学習のサイクル」を我々が創造過程にある防災教育プログラムの概念基盤に据えることが有用であると認識した。

Disaster-prevention awareness among college students has been explored for the purpose of studying and applying the 62 papers published by the Central Journal of Medicine. January 2023, the first person in Japan to discuss the theory of disaster prevention activities, Mr. Sumitomo Yamayama, and the concept of disaster prevention education.
