反射材着用時の安全効果周知に向けた持続的な仕組みづくりへの取り組みとして、2019年5月12日に兵庫県警と連携し、株式会社松坂屋百貨店大丸神戸店において、謎解きイベントとして楽しみながら反射材の重要性や効果について理解してもらうイベントを実施した。7月 15日に兵庫県警と連携し、イオンモール神戸店にて、反射材ストラップを用いてオリジナルのストラップを作成するワークショップと、同素材を用いたTシャツなどの展示を行った。9月13日に東京芸術センターにおいて開催された「反射材エキシビジョン2019」にて、反射材を用いたオリジナルデザインのTシャツ（共同開発：株式会社丸仁）、安全啓蒙用ストラップ、雑貨の試作を展示した。特に、光が当たると新たな絵柄が現れメッセージやストーリーを表現するというTシャツの提案は、機能性以外の反射材のファション的な活用法の具体案として好評を得た。9月21日に阪急西宮ガーデンズにて反射材の展示、同素材を用いたワークショップを開催した（兵庫県警と連携）。10月26日と27日に、三木総合防災公園にて開催された「ふれあいフェスティバルin北播磨」にて反射材を用いた作例の展示と、啓蒙のワークショップを実施した。以上、反射材の有用性について多くの人々に理解の浸透を図る取り組みを行うとともに、実際に製品を制作するための材料となる反射糸・反射撚糸の開発を併行して進め、完成した糸による試織を行った。
