项目摘要

2021年度までおよび2022年度前半まで、当初の目的通り災厄について「語る」方途に焦点を合わせて、エルフリーデ・イェリネク、クレメンス・J・ゼッツ、トーマス・シュタングルらの文学作品のについて、考察と翻訳を進めてきた。その中で明らかになったのは、「媒介性」「名指さない（名指せない）こと」がその核心にあるということ、および、災厄の経験においてジェンダーがファクターの一つになるということだった。本研究がもともと対象としていたのは、時代・地理的な隔たりを特徴とするような「災厄の経験」を語る文学である。しかし、新型コロナウィルス感染症という、地域を横断する現在進行形の「災厄」は続いており、視座の問い直しを迫られた。また、2022年度上半期において、エルフリーデ・イェリネクの演劇（"Laerm. Blindes sehen. Blinde sehen!" (2021), "Kein Licht." (2011)等）の分析を行う中で、「語り」と対になる、あるいは、「語り」の前提となる行為として、「聴く／聞く」ことが問題化されていることが、無視できない課題として浮上した。そこで、「聴く／聞く」という観点から作品を再読・精査し直し、イェリネク演劇におけるミメーシス的方法が、どのように「聴く／聞く」ことを問題化しているかについて考察した。その成果は、研究ノート（「「聞こえなさ」をどのように問題化するかエルフリーデ・イェリネク『光のない。』における「アンチ表象のプログラム」」」『人文学報』519-14、東京都立大学人文学研究科、2023年3月、57-68頁）にまとめて発表した。
