项目摘要

2022年度は、女性旅行家B・M・エリアーショヴァーを中心としたチェコのジャポニズム文学に関する現地での資料調査をつづけると同時に、資料調査と作品分析を踏まえた研究成果をまとめ、複数の研究論文と口頭発表により公開した。なお、本研究の一環として関連シンポジウムと展示会を複数開催し、中欧・チェコのジャポニズム文学や日本・チェコ文化交流について、学界にとどまらず幅広く発信した。以下、主な成果について要点をまとめた。①『實踐國文學』にエリアーショヴァーの初来日の背景に光を当てた「忘れえぬ人々─女性旅行家Ｂ・Ｍ・エリアーショヴァーの初来日の背景」（2022年10月）と、1926年に来日したホロウハについて報道した日本新聞の記事を分析した「茶漬けの味もわかるチェコの日本通一九二六年の日本新聞にみる旅行家Ｊ・ホロウハの肖像」（2023年3月）を発表。②2022年5月28日に、小説家、翻訳家のロジャー・パルバースを招き、実践女子大学特別講演会「世界文学とジャポニズム」第２回をオンラインで開催、本学の学生と一般の人を対象に「日本人の笑い」というテーマで講演してもらった。その他、11月26日にオンライン国際シンポジウム「西洋の女性たちが見た近代日本」、2023年2月20日にチェコ共和国カレル大学でシンポジウム「チェコの女性たちとオリエント」、3月11日に「チェコとウクライナ2022／2023」を開催。③研究論文と口頭発表のほかに、2022年12月15日～2023年1月25日に在チェコ共和国日本国大使館広報文化センターで、チェコ文学の日本語訳を紹介する展示「日本とチェコを結ぶ文学」、2023年2月6日～3月20日に駐日チェコ共和国大使館チェコセンターで、ナープルステク博物館との共催の写真展「チェコの旅行家たちの目に映った近代日本」を開催し、近代日本とチェコの文学や文化交流について紹介した。
