项目摘要

本研究は、墨書木製品の分類を手がかりとして、時代によって変化していった日本人と木簡との関係をあきらかにすることを目的としている。種々雑多な墨書木製品を分類するためには、時代が降るにつれて増加する墨書木製品の用途を見極めることが必要である。そのために、a）文献史料にあらわれる木簡の集成、b）伝世品を含めた（墨書）木製品と木簡の調査、c）墨書木製品の再認定とその類例の集積、以上３点について作業および調査をおこない、日本における木簡利用の歴史について考察する。初年度以降3年目までは、文献からの事例収集と墨書木製品一覧表作成、木簡の現地調査をおこなった。最終年度となる4年目には前年度までの調査成果を踏まえた墨書木製品一覧表をもとに史料集成を作成する予定であったが、前年度からの研究状況の遅れと研究代表者のその他業務の多忙、かつ本研究の遂行のために追加検討すべき事案に予想以上に時間を要したことにより、研究期間の1年延長を申請した。史料集成については、令和5年度刊行として準備を進めている。今年度おこなった作業は、c) 事例収集において、伝世資料での夾算の事例を増やすことができた。前年度まで進めていた木製品の分類に加えて、木簡研究での分類で木製品とされている型式（06型式）だけでなく、木札の通常形態である短冊型（01型式）などにも範囲を広げて墨書木製品の事例を追加している。b）伝世品を含めた（墨書）木製品と木簡の調査、における研究成果として、但馬の出土文字資料集成を共著共編で刊行し、飛鳥池遺跡出土削屑の接続等再検討と再釈読の成果を公表した。そのほか、別の研究プロジェクトの一環で、美祢市出土の木簡、木製品や京都市のこけら経を調査する機会を得、本研究にも資するところがあった。

This study aims to classify the wood products of ink-based printing. A variety of inkwood products are classified into different categories, and the use of inkwood products is extremely important.
