2022年度は本務校での研究活動を中心に、下記を行った。【資料分析とデータ整備状況】広島市の経済復興状況を示す統計データ整理はほぼ完了した。全国で80万以上の世帯が参加したといわれる「引揚者在外事実調査」（厚生省、1956年）個票のデータベース作成は、広島市に加え、戦前に移民が多かった広島県安佐郡、戦後に引揚港となった広島県大竹市分も完了し、現在分析中である。また、マクロ経済分析と並行し、「労働市場の回復過程」という視点での成果発表を進めており、下記も並行して実施している。【共同研究（継続中）】広島市と同様、戦争で壊滅的な被害を受けた沖縄県の経済復興分析を、琉球大学の研究グループと行っている。具体的には、沖縄県の「引揚者在外事実調査票」（満洲分）を用い、戦争で失業状態になった人々の再就職過程の比較分析を行っている。沖縄県調査は、琉球列島米国民政府・琉球政府史料の活用により、経済状況、特に賃金データを含めた労働市場の回復過程の分析を行っている。広島市の経済復興過程は、沖縄分の研究成果と照らし合わせ、労働市場の回復という観点から進めている。【研究発表状況】論文は「戦後沖縄県の労働市場と満洲引揚者」を『立教大学経済学紀要』第76号第3巻で発表し、同内容を社会経済史学会第 92 回全国大会（2023年5月）で報告する。また、国際学会は、The 2022 Association for Asian Studies Conference Japan」の「From Empire to Nation-State: Cultures of Decolonisation in Postwar Japan,1945-1960」パネルにおいて討論者を勤めた。岐阜県の引揚者マーケットを基礎とした岐阜アパレル産業の発展、北海道の戦後農業発展における樺太引揚者の役割を考察して研究進展の可能性を提示し、類似分野の研究者と意見交換を行った。
