本研究は総務省の「条件不利地域」関連法適用地域で活動する、ソーシャル・ビジネス/コミュニティ・ビジネス（SB/CB）の起業家・経営者やその資源提供者に対する訪問調査を、文献調査とともに定性的に分析し、SB/CB経営者の資源調達に際する、コーゼーション（将来の不確実性を極力少なくし、目的をたてその実現方法を逆算して考えること）、ブリコラージュ（即興で何とかすること）やエフェクチュエーション（将来の不確実性を受け入れ、関係者と実行可能な手段を探ること）等の、思考・行動様式を解明しようとするものである。複数年にわたる新型コロナウィルス感染症の全国的な広がりとそれに伴う行動制限に伴い、当初想定していた訪問調査を基本とした研究計画の見直しが迫られた。その結果、条件不利地域のNPOの財務状況の分析や、移動制限が課される前に収集したデータの分析に基づく定性的調査に関する論文執筆を中心に行ってきた。今年度は、①前年度作成した芸術系NPOの財務状況のデータ・ベース（DB）を活かし、コロナ禍が芸術系NPOの財務状況にどのような影響を与えたかについて学会発表を行った。また②前年度に行った訪問パイロット調査を元に、高齢化が進む条件不利地域で活動する農業参入法人による知識創造による課題解決についての事例研究について査読付論文を1本刊行した。③また新たな事例についての聴取調査を行った。④条件不利地域のNPOのエフェクチュエーション・コーゼーションに関する調査結果をまとめた定性的な論文、および、⑤条件不利地域にのNPOに財務分析の論文は、それぞれ国際誌の査読結果を踏まえ、再投稿の準備を行った。
