令和４年度の研究実績は，以下の３点である。１）米国の資料収集・転載許可取得：米国テネシー州教育省とコンタクトを取り，同州で実際に使用された学力テスト問題のサンプルを入手するとともに，後述する学術書への転載許可を得られた。米国の学力テスト問題は著作権の観点等から転載が禁じられている秘匿性の高い一次資料であるが，学術への貢献という観点から依頼したところ，先方が指定する説明文を付記するという条件付きで掲載する許可を得られた。これは小学６年生用の学力テスト問題にあたるため，わが国の全国学力・学習状況調査等との比較・検討という意味でも貴重な資料である。２）学術図書の刊行助成採択：本研究を含めたこれまでの研究を博士論文としてまとめたものを基盤に，①上記米国の学力テスト問題を翻訳したもの，②別の科研による成果である新たな知見を１章分加筆したものを学術書としてまとめ，日本学術振興会の刊行助成（学術図書）に申請し，採択された。これは，本書の主題である「教員の処遇改善に向けた学力テスト結果の活用と影響」の理論的基盤に位置づく知見であり，同時に米国（テネシー州・ワシントンD.C.）での実地調査の成果も含んでいる。３）英国研究者との面会：当初計画していた渡航調査は新型ウイルス等の影響で実施できなかったが，英国で著名な研究者が来日している際に面会して聞き取り調査を行うとともに，研究ネットワークの構築を進めることに成功した。本研究の調査対象地域である日米英のうち，唯一調査経験がない英国について現地の研究者と交流できたことは，今後研究を進める上で重要な意味を持つ。
