项目摘要

本研究は、学力の規定要因について学校の取り組みや環境などに着目し、（１）学校と保護者の関係と学力についておよび、（２）教員の背景、教育姿勢や指導方法と学力について、実証的な知見を提示することを目的としている。学校が持つハード面およびソフト面での教育環境と学力に関する実証分析はまだ十分に蓄積されていない。学力や、生徒、保護者に関するアンケート調査の結果を用いた分析を行うことで、どのような学校や教員の取り組みが学力と関係しているかについて明らかにする。また、生徒や保護者の視点を分析指標として加えることで、生徒や保護者がどのように認識する学校や教員の取り組みが学力向上に繋がるかを明らかにし、学力向上に向けた取り組みを検討するためのエビデンスを提示することを目的とする。本年度は、引き続き生徒の学力などの情報を含む追加のデータの結合・整備を進め、基礎的な分析を行った。具体的には、小学校の教員に関するデータを入手し、生徒の学力との関係について多変量解析を進め、その結果について先行研究を含めた論文の草案を作成した。ただし、一部明確な結果が得られなかったものもあるため、今後更に分析を行い、論文の執筆を進めていく予定である。また、学力だけではなく、子どもの状態に関するデータを入手し、親の子どもへのケアの代理変数としての有効性について探り、今後そのような変数を使用した分析についても検討している。また、各学校段階における教員や学校の取り組みと生徒学力の関係について、更に研究・分析を深めるために、高等学校の複数時点パネルデータを入手し、時系列の変化について確認した。
