本研究では，ランドスケープ政策に参画する地理学の学問的基盤について，隣り合う学との協働，社会との関係の切り結び方，両者の土台をなす社会発展に関する思想，という3つの問いの考究を通じて明らかにすることを目的に掲げた。研究期間前半にあたる2018～2019年度は，地理学界の深い関与がみられるスペインのランドスケープ政策に関する研究を進め，アンダルシア自治州とカタルーニャ自治州で現地調査を実施した。ところが，2020年度に差しかかった頃にCovid-19の感染拡大（以下「コロナ禍」）が全世界的な問題として浮上し，当初予定していた2020～2021年度の海外調査を全面中止とせざるをえなかった。そのため，2度にわたる研究期間延長（計2年間）の承認を受けて研究計画を再構成し，2023年度に本研究課題を終えるという新たなスケジュールのもとで，2022年度までに概略次の研究を行った。【2020年度】本研究課題の背景をなす地中海都市に関わる報告者の研究成果をもとに，ランドスケープ研究の理論的視座も取り入れて集成し，年度末に単著の研究書として公刊した。【2021年度】本研究が日本の地域づくりの方法論構築を動機づけの一つとしていることをふまえ，木曽三川下流地域を新たなフィールドに加えて，ランドスケープの変化と持続性に関する調査を行った。また，本研究課題と先学の関係整理にもとづいて学会シンポジウム報告を行い，それにもとづく論文を公表した。【2022年度】コロナ禍の制約下でも海外調査を再開できる状況となったため，ランドスケープ政策への地理学の寄与という本来の研究課題に立ち戻って，イタリアの現地調査を行った。当初の計画では，スペインに関わる第3の事例としてスペインのガリシア自治州を取り上げる予定であったが，コロナ対応の関係で渡航期間を短縮せざるをえなかったため，ガリシア自治州の調査は見送った。

This study aims to explore the basic principles of geography, the relationship between geography and geography, and the relationship between geography and geography. [Year 2020] Background of this research project: The research results of the reporter on Mediterranean cities are included in the theoretical framework of the research, and the research book is published at the end of the year. [Year 2021] This study aims to investigate the methodology for the construction of regional information systems in Japan and the sustainability of regional information systems in the lower reaches of the Three Rivers. This research topic is related to the relationship between learning and research, and the relationship between learning and research. [Year 2022] Overseas survey re-opened under the constraints of disaster, policy, geography and original research project established, field survey conducted. The third case of the original plan is to shorten the transit period of the autonomous state's investigation.
