项目摘要

ヨーロッパの代表的都市圏のひとつ、バルセロ才大都市圏を対象として、20世紀の産業化の過程で発生した入口流入が社会文化集団形成に与えた影響を、言語・文化の異なる地方間の移動と農村かち都市への移動の両側面から明らかにすることを目的に研究を進めてきた。具体的には、(a)人口再生産のメカニズムを婚姻・出生の分析を通じて明らかにする、(b)言語・文化および都市性に関する生活戦略上の資源が社会経済的地位獲得に及ぼす効果を分析する、(c)社会文化集団形成が居住地や生活空間の編成に与える影響を明らかにする、という3つの目標を設定した。昨年度(a)が実質的に終了したことを受け、今年度は(b)(c)を中心に研究を進めた。その結果、国勢調査抽出データと社会学調査センター調査個票の分析、現地調査での同郷人団体へのアンケート調査等を通じて、主導産業の転換とともに変化するバルセロナ大都市圏の労働市場に編入された流入者が、カタルーニャ生まれとは教育資源や世代間地位伝達といった基礎条件を異にしつつ、独自の職業生活を切り開いてきた過程を明らかにすることができた。また、流入者の社会経済的地位獲得には、移住した時点のライフステージや移住先での居住歴が強く影響しているものの、カタルーニャ語の明確な影響は特定の職種に限られることも併せて判明した。以上の分析では、流入者が職業集団編成に果たした役割を、底辺労働者といった図式には押し込められない多面的・多層的なものとして、業績原理・属性原理などの地位達成に関する代表的理論に関する批判的検討を交えつつ検討した。さらに、居住地・生活空間の編成についても、住民属性、住宅、地価等に関する国勢調査区別のデータにもとづく多変量解析、ならびに住宅政策・宅地造成に関する現地調査の結果をもとに、社会文化地区類型析出の作業を現在進めており,近く成果を公表できる見通しである。
