During this first year of funding, contacts with survey assistants and micro-credit institutions in Ghana and Kenya have been established. In addition, two meetings with an expert involved in the project (Pr. Frank Agbola of Newcastle Business School, Australia) were held during the WEAI Conference in Vancouver in June 2018. Also, a presentation has been made on economic growth in Africa at the Western Economic Association International 2018 Conference on June 26-30.
