项目摘要

本研究は、乳児の気質や愛着、家庭での養育が、幼児期の自己制御とどのように関連するのかを解明しようとするものである。発達初期（1歳時点）の気質(Effortful Control)、養育者との愛着、養育者の養育が、その後（3歳時点）の自己制御（認知制御と情動制御）、幼児期の社会的行動、仲間関係にどのように影響するかを、行動観察、実験的調査、生理的測定を通して縦断的に検討することを目的とした。令和4年度も、新型コロナ感染症予防のため、令和２年度、３年度に引き続き大学は入構禁止となり、研究協力者の募集ができず、データの収集は十分に展開できなかった。そこで課題の検討のため、大学生を対象に認知制御課題を行った。令和４年度には本研究の前提となる小学校入学後１、３の抑制制御などの実行機能と学業成績の関連を検討した縦断研究が、Psychological Report(令和４年10月）、チャイルドサイエンス(令和５年３月）に、親の養育行動測定の国際比較研究がDevelopmental Science(令和５年３月）に掲載された。また小学校入学後の抑制制御の発達と３年次の学業の関連を検討した研究を日本発達心理学会(令和５年３月）、SRCD(Society of Research in Child Development)(令和５年３月）において発表した。幼児教育で育まれる自己制御と後の学校や社会生活への適応の関連を縦断研究で検討したペリー幼児教育プロジェクトを紹介し、非認知能力を小学校への架け橋期につなげることの重要性を論じた論考を千葉県教育委員会の季刊誌に執筆した。
