本研究の目的は，脳卒中者のIADLに関連する要因を心身機能と個人因子及び環境因子等を含む背景因子から広く検証し，効果的なリハビリテーションを推進するための予後予測モデル式を作成することである．2022年度は2021年度に引き続き，脳卒中者のリハビリテーションを実施している福島県内の回復期リハビリテーション病棟を有する３病院においてデータ収集を行った．2022年度末時点で本研究にエントリーされた者は328名,その内同意が得られた者は186名である．現在，本研究同意者の退院後のIADLに関して，発症後6ヶ月および12か月時点でのデータを調査中であるが，2022年度末までに収集されたデータ数は，発症6か月時点で104件，発症12か月時点で65件である．また，本研究計画の一つである地域在住高齢者におけるIADL調査に関して，福島県郡山市からデータの提供を受け，介護保険要支援者を対象にIADLの実施状況及びIADLの低下に関連する要因の検討を行い，その結果の一部を第57回日本作業療法学会（2023年11月）で発表することとなった．さらに，地域在住高齢者を対象とした研究成果の一部について論文としてまとめ，受理された（Takaaki Fujita, Kazuaki Iokawa. Prediction tool for disability progression and mortality in older adults eligible for Japanese long-term care insurance: Koriyama study. Medicine, 2023）.

The purpose of this study is to develop predictive equations for stroke related factors including psychosomatic function, personal factors and environmental factors. There were 328 stroke victims in 3 hospitals in Fukushima Prefecture, and 186 stroke victims in 3 hospitals in Fukushima Prefecture. At present, the number of cases collected at the end of 2022 is 104 at the time of 6 months and 65 at the time of 12 months after the onset of the disease. In addition, the results of the IADL survey conducted in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, were presented in the 57th edition of the Japan Occupational Therapy Association (November 2023). A part of the research results of the regional residents in Takayama is published in the journal Takaaki Fujita, Kazuaki Iokawa.
