项目摘要

本研究は、中学校・高校の体育理論に設定されている「スポーツの文化的意義」に関する単元の学習教材として「民俗フットボール」（ここでは、カークウオールのBa'ゲームを用いて）を位置づけ、その授業を構想し、授業モデルを提案することを目的としている。2022年度も2021年度同様にコロナ禍は収束することなく、予定していた研究計画を進展させることができなかった。そのため、2021年度から引き続いて予定した海外調査は2022年度も実施できず、また、授業実践の蓄積に区切りをつけ、授業モデルを構築し、提案する取り組みまでに至らなかった。そこで、2023年度まで研究期間の再延長を申請し、何とか成果をまとめたいと考えている。そのような中でも成果として、2022年度は、実践者との議論の中で(1)この間の研究で確認できた民俗フットボールの教材的価値を生かし、中学1年生の「スポーツの必要性と楽しさ」の単元の実践を構想・実施し、1年生から3年生までの各段階において、民俗フットボールを教材として位置付けた系統的な実践を構想し、その実践に取り組んだ。また同じく協議によって、(2)「スポーツの文化的意義」の実践を1時間完結から2回に分けて実践することにより、より深い学びができるのではないかと考え、1時間完結の授業にグループ学習、調べ学習を導入した2時間で構成する授業を構想し実践に取り組んだ。さらに、(3)高校の実践において、協力者が得られたことから、試行的ながら「スポーツの文化的意義」に関わる実践にも取り組むことができた。以上の取り組みから、2022年度は、研究目的とする「スポーツの文化的意義」の授業モデル作成において複眼的アプローチ、そして「民俗フットボール」を教材とする中学校・高校の実践の構想・実施に関して系統的アプローチにも取り組むことができた。
