项目摘要

前年度と同様、新型コロナウィルス感染症の影響や現地の状況変化によって調査の遂行に困難をきたしたが、ウィズコロナ政策への転換と歩調を合わせて現地調査を段階的に再開した。しかし、研究計画全体の遅れを取り戻すには至らず、再度研究期間を延長して当初目的を達成する予定である。本年度は、主に交付申請書の「研究の対象と方法」に記載した①～③について、それぞれ次のように取り組んだ。①「(a)富岡市民の〈世界遺産のまち・富岡〉へのまなざし」と「(b)世界遺産前後の富岡市民の意識と行動の変容・進展」を分析するため、市民意識調査の調査票等の準備を行った。実査の準備はほぼ整ったがコロナ禍の影響で実施することができなかった。この調査は本研究の軸となる部分であるため、再度、代替方法の検討や実現に向けた関係者との調整を継続して次年度に実施する予定である。また、地域社会に散在する各種データの収集・整理については可能な限り現地への訪問を重ねてデータを蓄積した。② 世界遺産登録の影響を測定するための基本的な視点と方法の検討についても、当初予定して地域での聞き取り調査を徐々に再開しつつ、二次資料の収集・分析を重ねた。一方で、前年度に引き続き、「佐渡島(さど)の金山」における事例調査に取り組んだ。当初予定していたものとは異なるが、その成果は本研究にフィードバックすることができるものであった。なお、本研究の鍵概念となる「再帰性（Reflexivity）」と「まなざし（Gaze）」については理論的な検討を継続してきたが、新たに「記憶の共同体」の概念との関係性を再検討の上、論文として発表する予定である。③ 富岡市における世界遺産登録がもたらす地域社会への影響に関する事例分析については、先行研究と収集済みデータを用いて分析モデルの検討を重ねた。
