项目摘要

本研究は『大友真鳥実記』など仮作軍記と呼ばれる作品群の文学史的な位置づけを探るものである。第５年度にあたる本年は次の点を明らかにした。従来、畠山泰全『大友真鳥実記』（元文２年〈１７３７〉刊）は『難波土産』（元文３年〈１７３８〉刊）や森島中良『反古籠』の記述から、竹田出雲『大内裏大友真鳥』（享保１１年〈１７２６〉初演）に先行する作品と考えられてきた。しかし、『大内裏大友真鳥』が『大友真鳥実記』を参照したといえるほどの、内容の一致は見られない。登場人名なども厳密には一致していない。また『難波土産』の記述も『大内裏大友真鳥』の参考文献を紹介したもので、『大内裏大友真鳥』の成立に『大友真鳥実記』が関与したことを述べるものではない。『反古籠』の記述も穂積以貫が『大内裏大友真鳥』の成立に関わったことをいうのみで、『大友真鳥実記』には触れていない。穂積以貫が『大友真鳥実記』の成立に関与した可能性は否定しないが、『大友真鳥実記』が『大内裏大友真鳥』に影響を与えたことをいうには『反古籠』の記述は不十分である。『大友真鳥実記』序の、著者畠山大全の未完成の原稿を死後に補訂したとの記述を信じるのであれば、『大友真鳥実記』は『大内裏大友真鳥』の後に成立した可能性が高い。『大友真鳥実記』は『大内裏大友真鳥』以前に成立したとされてきたために文学史的な位置づけを曖昧にせざるを得なかった。上述の成果により、『大友真鳥実記』の文学史的な位置づけが、よりいっそう明確になるものと考える。
