本研究は、 Miyajima式腹部圧迫法の臨床応用のために、臨床試験の方法に則り、4段階の研究段階を計画している。研究代表者はすでにMiyajima 式腹部圧迫法の安全性、有効性及び教育方法についてPhaseⅠ及びPhaseⅡを終了している。 本研究課題ではPhaseⅢを行う。臨床効果（効力/安全性の評価）を評価し、臨床の限られた数の便秘患者において、Miyajima式 腹部圧迫法の有効性と安全性を検討しPhaseⅣの情報を収集することを目的とする。本年度は、2019年度の研究成果が2018年度の研究結果を反証したことから、さらにMiyajima式腹部圧迫法の有効性について検討する計画であった。Miyajima式腹部圧迫法の強みである排泄障害の対象者への即時的効果については、大腸内に便が貯留していることが条件となるが、精神科疾患を持つ対象者は薬物によるコントロールを受けており、その影響が大きく、条件が満たされにくいことが原因である。このため、昨年度、便秘評価のための超音波画像診断機器を購入した。本年度は、購入した機器を用いた画像診断を元に、対象者を評価し、研究を進めて行く予定であった。しかし、Covid-19の感染拡大のため、画像診断の知識を統一する研修や研究対象者の確保が難しい現状があった。このため、便秘評価のための機器を用いた評価の準備を行った。また、現在までの研究成果を論文作成、学会発表、交流集会の準備を行い、オンライン上で交流集会を行った。今後、さらなる臨床応用に向けて、予定数の対象者を目標にPhese Ⅲの評価を拡大して研究を行う。

This study includes the clinical application of Miyajima abdominal compression method, the method of clinical trial, and the four-stage research plan. The study representatives discussed the safety, effectiveness, and educational methods of Miyajima abdominal compression. This research topic is Phase III. The purpose is to evaluate the clinical results (evaluation of effectiveness/safety), discuss the effectiveness and safety of the Miyajima abdominal compression method in a limited number of patients with constipation, and collect information on Phase IV. The results of this year's study and 2019's study and the results of 2018's study are counter-evidence to the effectiveness of Miyajima abdominal compression method. Miyajima abdominal compression method is used to treat patients with acute effects, such as retention in the large intestine, mental disorders, and other disorders. Research results are now produced, presentations are made, preparations for exchange meetings are carried out, and exchange meetings are carried out.
