While previous studies investigate the flexibility of face representation via the analysis of aftereffects from adaptation faces to test faces in configural face information (e.g., mouth-eye distance), perception and memory studies that investigate aftereffects in local face information (e.g., color of eyes or mouth) are lacking. The present proposal aims to fill this gap in the literature by systematically investigating face adaptation aftereffects in local face information.
