项目摘要

ベトナムのドンナイ川における河床調査と，メコンデルタのバーライ放棄河道におけるボーリング調査を実施し,地形と堆積物の特徴を取りまとめた。河川地形については，基盤の地形に大きく規制されていること，過去６千年間のデルタの前進にともなう変化に，大きく関係していることが明らかになった。これらの成果は，Frontier in Earth Sciemceに投稿し，８月に出版された。また堆積物の関係では，メコン川で明らかになった同様の傾向が確認でき，これらの成果はMarine Geologyに投稿した。バーライ放棄河道の堆積物については，分析が終了し，とりまとめ中である。またこれらの他に，メコンデルタで明らかになった潮汐卓越型の大規模デルタにおける河床地形の特徴について，ガンジス・ブラマプトラデルタ，長江デルタ，イラワジデルタ，フライデルタにおいて，同様の解析を行い，これらすべてについて同様の特徴があることを見出した．これらの結果については，Earth-Science Reviewから４月に出版された。
