本研究は、ベラルーシ及びウクライナにおいて基幹民族の民族語の威信がいかに形成・強化されてきたのかを、1)実体計画、2)地位計画、3)普及計画の３つの観点から課題を設定し体系的に比較・考察するものである。本年度は、1)に関する成果として、ロシア語論文『B. タラシケヴィチ『学校のためのベラルーシ語文法』の標準ベラルーシ語の形成過程における役割を再考する』を受入研究者の野町素己教授と共同編集した研究論集『社会の中の文法、文法の中の社会：スラヴ諸語の規範文法に関する研究』(ロシアJaSK社、2021年)にて刊行した。更に論文「現代ベラルーシ語の標準語規範の分裂と対立」を『スラヴ研究』第68号において発表し、論文“Rethinking the Graphization Process of the Belarusian Language in Eastern and Western Belarus in the Interwar Period”が査読審査を通過し研究論集Languages and Nationalism Instead of Empires(イギリスRoutledge社より2022年刊行予定)への採録が決まった。また、ベラルーシ語とウクライナ語と密接な関係にあるロシア語のラテン文字化をめぐって“A Comparative Study of the Latinization of the Belarusian and Russian Alphabets during the Interwar Period”という題目で国際学会The 10th ICCEES World Congressにて報告した。2)と3)に関しては、特にベラルーシ語の事例を考察する上で重要なベラルーシ人の宗教的帰属意識と言語の関係について論じた最新の研究書Conversation with God(Ewa Golachowska 2020)を精読し、その成果を書評としてActa Slavica Iaponica の第43号に投稿した(採録決定、2022年発行予定)。ウクライナ語の事例に関しては2022年に入って生じた国際情勢の変化も併せて研究論文として取りまとめを行っている。
