本研究の実施にあたっては１）３言語の文字体系成立過程におけるラテン文字使用をめぐる問題、２）ウクライナ語・ベラルーシ語の正書法の確立における言語純化主義の問題、３）３言語の書記体系選択における少数派の生存戦略の問題という３つの具体的な研究課題を設定しそれぞれの問題の考察を進めてきた。本年度は、ロシア軍のウクライナ侵攻が収束しなかった影響で、研究対象地域であるロシアとウクライナ、更にロシアと政治的関係の強いベラルーシでの現地調査・資料収集は実施できなかったが、関連する文献の精読と入手済みの資料の考察を地道に進め、成果の取りまとめを行い、特に１）及び２）の課題に集中的に取り組んだ。まず１）をめぐる研究成果として、ロシア語・ウクライナ語・ベラルーシ語の３言語のラテン文字化の問題について戦間期に焦点をあてて比較考察を行い、その研究成果の一部を北海道大学スラブ・ユーラシア研究センターとロシア学士院スラブ学研究所との国際共同セミナー、The17th annual meeting of the Slavic Linguistics Society、ロシア・東欧学会 2022年度研究大会にて報告した。また２）の研究課題に関しては、特にベラルーシ語をめぐる問題について、北海道スラブ研究会および第８回北大・部局横断シンポジウムにて研究成果の発表と意見交換を行った。さらにベラルーシ語の書記体系の発展を考察する上で重要なベラルーシ人の宗教的帰属意識と言語イデオロギーの関係を扱った最新の研究書Conversation with God (Ewa Golachowska 2020)の書評をActa Slavica Iaponicaの第43号にて発表したほか、アウトリーチ活動として公開シンポジウム「ウクライナ・ベラルーシにおける多言語文化」に招待されベラルーシの言語文化について講演を行った。
