项目摘要

本年度は、主な研究対象としている作家のうち、とくに甲斐説宗に焦点を当てて研究活動にあたった。当初の研究計画通り甲斐の御遺族にコンタクトを取り、その資料が保管されている御自宅で調査を行った。調査の結果、以下の資料の所在を確認した。まず、甲斐による自筆の資料が50点弱。内訳は自作品の構想や経過の記録が26点、他作曲家作品の記録や分析が6点、論文、書籍、講演等の記録が4点、教育活動（和声、対位法、楽曲分析法）に関する記録が10点、その他（ドイツ語学習のための単語帳）が１点である。さらに、新聞記事を「音楽」「美術Ⅰ」「美術Ⅱ」「演劇」「文学」という項目に分類したもの5冊、『音楽藝術』誌に掲載の論考を集めたもの3冊からなる合計8冊のスクラップブック、甲斐が留学していたドイツと日本での演奏会のパンフレットやチラシ・批評文を収集したファイル、甲斐と親交が深かった原田力男によって催された「プライヴェート・コンサート」関連の資料3点が確認された。加えて、甲斐の蔵書について50冊ほどを対象に書込を確認している。最後に、主に電子音楽とそのための素材、コンサートや講演の記録を収めたオーディオ・テープとヴィデオ・テープが数十本が存在する。以上の資料については、御遺族の許可を得て、保管状態を改善した上で、すべてデジタル化した。以上のように整理した資料をもとに、作品の分析を行い2022年11月に日本音楽学会第73回全国大会にて研究発表を行い、関連分野の専門家からのフィードバックをもとに、2022年12月末に同学会に論文を投稿した。これは2023年3月末日に査読結果を受け取り、コメントをもとに2023年6月までに修正を行い再度提出、採用期間内に公開する。なお、今年度の調査で、更なる研究のための足固めを十分に行うことができた点で、申請者の研究にとっても、甲斐研究全体にとっても、極めて大きな一歩となった。
