本研究では、インターネット上の誹謗中傷やヘイトスピーチの問題に対処するため、自然言語処理を用いて問題のある文章を自動検出することを目指しています。日本の文脈において既存の誹謗中傷検出モデルやデータセットが不足していたため、法律を基準にした侮辱や名誉毀損の検出基準を設定し、オープンソースの法言語処理データリソースを構築することで、妥当性や公平性を担保する研究基盤を築くことを目的としています。昨年度は、インターネットの誹謗中傷に関連する民事事件を中心に調査を行い、これらより損害を訴えられたソーシャルメディアや匿名掲示板の投稿を収集し、匿名化加工を行った上で、それに対する司法による判断をラベルの形でアノテーションしたデータセットを作成しました。こちらの研究は「権利侵害と不快さの間：日本語人権侵害表現データセット」という論文において発表を行い、データセットも公開を行っております。この研究は、誹謗中傷やヘイトスピーチの線引きという、受け手側の主観に大きな影響を受ける問題設定において、法曹判断という客観的な基準を持ち込むことで、実社会の状況を反映し、妥当性と独自性のあるデータセットの整備を試みるものである。一般ユーザーが手軽に大規模言語モデルにアクセスできるようになった現在、AIと道徳やAIと倫理について、さらに議論を深めていく必要があるという急速な社会的変化の中で、客観的判断基準によって議論を勧めていくものであり、このような点に評価をいただき、言語処理学会第29回年次大会においてスポンサー賞のうちの富士通賞をいただきました。

This study is aimed at the automatic detection of defamation and speech problems in natural speech processing. The research base for the establishment of the legal language processing system for the existing defamation system in Japan is set up according to the law.
