Some problems on information to be included in the manoeuvring booklet and on the manoeuvrability standards has been discussed at the International Maritime Organization. At the same time, the development of prediction method for ship maneuvrability at the initial stage of design will be expected.As the background with these points, this research examines the prediction method of ship manoeuvrability in shallow water and narrow waterways. From the results of this research during two years, the following conclusions have been obtained.(1) We can estimate the manoeuviring performance of a ship in shallow water by using the mathematical model proposed in this research.(2)[ This methematical model can be used for estimation the hydrodynamic force in any water depth by expanding the data on deep water.(3) Among the hydrodyname coefficientsin this model, the coefficients of interaction forces between hull and rudder, or propeller and rudder are sensitive to any small change in computational results on ship manoeuvring charateristics.(4) This research proposed also how to estimate the hydrodynamic force acting on ship in the proximity of uniform and non-uniform bank wall such as canal wall, breakwater and wedge-shaped bank wall.from the above results, the calculation and simulation methods proposed in this research will be useful for prediction of a ship manoeuvrability at the initial stage of design, for sutomatic control system of a ship in shallow and restricted water, for discussion of marine traffic control system and also for construction of harbor or canal.
国际海事组织已经讨论了关于应列入操纵手册的资料和关于操纵标准的一些问题。同时,对设计初期船舶操纵性预测方法的发展进行了展望。以这些观点为背景,本研究探讨了浅水狭窄航道下船舶操纵性的预测方法。从这两年的研究结果,得到以下结论。(1)利用本文提出的数学模型,可以对船舶在浅水区的操纵性能进行估计。(2)[该数学模型通过对深水数据的扩展,可用于估算任何水深的水动力。](3)在该模型的水动力系数中,船体与舵、螺旋桨与舵之间的相互作用力系数对船舶操纵特性计算结果的微小变化较为敏感。(4)本文还提出了在运河墙、防波堤、楔形岸墙等均匀和非均匀岸墙附近,船舶所受水动力的估计方法。从以上结果看,本文所提出的计算和仿真方法将有助于在设计初期预测船舶的操纵性,用于浅水和受限水域船舶自动控制系统。用于海上交通管制系统的讨论,也用于港口或运河的建设。
