本研究課題では、曝露面接場面の言語データを対象に、最新の人工知能技術を適用し、曝露療法（エクスポージャー療法，exposure therapy）の効果が発揮される必須の要素を解明するための研究を実施することを目的とする。本年度は、初年度に研究全体の土台を整備した結果を踏まえ、第一に、曝露法の研究の趨勢を把握するため、論文要旨のテキストデータの解析対象範囲を拡大した上で、自然言語処理の一つである構造的トピックモデル（Structural Topic Model: STM）を用いた解析を進めた。これらの研究成果は学会発表を通じて公表した。また、当初計画していた手続きをより厳格にする必要が生じ、解析対象とするテキストデータの選定における評定一致率の算出を追加する軌道修正を行い、投稿準備を進めた。さらに、来日したクラスク博士（Michelle G. Craske, PhD）の学会基調講演やワークショップにおいて制止学習理論やポジティブ価システムに注目した最新のアプローチにふれ、曝露療法（Exposure therapy）の治療メカニズムについて理論的検討を進めた。第二に、曝露法のメカニズムを感情調整の観点から解明するため、感情への曝露による感情反応の変化の作用の一部を説明すると考えられる”Positive Emotion in Distress”の概念について、本年度は、ポジティブ心理学的な観点から新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）流行下での予防的なメンタルヘルスケア戦略の可能性について日本社会精神医学会の年次大会において発表を行った内容を大幅に加筆修正し、学会誌に公表した。
