本研究の調査は、平成28年度および平成29年度に実施されたベースライン調査にて登録された対象の5年後の追跡調査として、令和3年度から令和4年度の2年間で実施するよう計画された。令和4年度は調査の2年目として、岩手県矢巾町在住の高齢者202名を対象に実施した。調査では、本研究の主要評価項目であるIADLについては老研式活動能力指標の本人と家族の双方に実施したほか、認知機能検査、頭部MRI検査など軽度認知障害(MCI)の診断に必要な検査を実施した。認知症をアウトカムとした前向きコホート研究は、ドロップアウトがイベント発生と直結するため、追跡率の確保が研究の妥当性を左右する重要なファクターとなっている。令和4年度は、特に対象者の調査(健診)へ参加できるよう様々な広報や受診勧奨を行い、60%という比較的高い追跡率を確保できた。これに来年度以降、訪問調査を加え、80%まで追跡率を高める予定である。

This study was conducted in 2008, 2009 and 2009, and the follow-up study was conducted in 2008, 2009 and 2009. In 2004, 202 people from Iwate Prefecture lived in Takahashi. The main evaluation items of this study were IADL, cognitive function examination, head MRI examination, and necessary examination for diagnosis of cognitive impairment (MCI). Cognitive disorders are important for research to ensure that research is appropriate and that tracking rates are appropriate. In 2004, the survey of special subjects (health care) participated in the survey, and the tracking rate of 60% was ensured. This year, the number of visits and surveys increased, and the tracking rate increased by 80%.
