超平面配置に付随する対数的ベクトル場，すなわち，全ての超平面に沿うような多項式ベクトル場がなす加群が自由加群であるとき，超平面配置は自由配置であるといわれる．自由配置は，その超平面配置に含まれる超平面の共通部分によってつくられる交叉半順序集合の特性多項式や，超平面配置を複素化したときの補集合のポアンカレ多項式が整数係数上で1次式に分解するなどの著しい性質を持つ．Shi配置はA型アフィン・ワイル群の元のある種の同値類の集合とShi配置の部屋が一対一に対応する，というJ.-Y.Shi氏の研究の中で，元々A型のルート系に対してのみ導入されたものである．Shi配置はWeyl配置の各鏡映面に平行な超平面を付け加えたという単純な対象であり，その自由性が，Edelman-Reiner予想の解決という形で示されているが，Weyl配置の自由性が基本不変式を用いて具体的に基底を記述することによって示されたのに対して，Shi配置の自由性はG. M. Ziegler氏による重複度付き超平面配置の理論や，代数幾何的な手法を用いて基底を構成することなく示された．その後，寺尾宏明氏，R. Gao氏, D. Pei氏, 申請者によってA型，B型，C型，D型のルート系に対するShi配置の基底構成がなされたが，それらはルート系の型に依存しており，全ての型を尽くしてはおらず，また得られた基底の形も非常に複雑なものであった．今年度は前年度に得られた結果である，離散積分を用いたA型Shi配置の基底表示をB型などの他のルート系に対しても得られないか，という方針で研究を進めたがめぼしい成果が得られず難航している。

This year's results are different from those of the previous year's. Discrete integrals are used in A-type Shi configurations, and B-type Shi configurations are used in other systems.
