申請者らは、名古屋市立大学病院で進行中の前向き観察臨床研究「重症喘息における抗ヒトIL-4受容体α鎖抗体（IL-4およびIL-13選択的阻害薬）の有効性に関する研究（UMIN000038669）」に関するデータを集積し（31例集積（目標症例数30例中））、重症喘息における気道過分泌の意義と本生物学的製剤が気道過分泌の指標である「咳および痰の質問票スコア」を有意に改善することを確認し、現在論文作成に努めている。この先行研究結果を踏まえ、本研究の目的である誘発喀痰中ムチン（MUC5ACおよびMUC5B）の重症喘息病態および喘息コントロールへの寄与を明らかにすべく、名古屋市立大学病院で進行中の横断的臨床研究「重症喘息の気道過分泌病態における誘発喀痰中ムチンの臨床的意義に関する研究（UMIN000050456）」に関するデータを集積した（50例集積（目標症例数50例中））。現在ムチンの測定とデータ解析に努めている。

Applicant: Ongoing clinical research at Nagoya City University Hospital "Severe asthma, anti-IL-4 receptor alpha lock antibody Study on the Effectiveness of IL-4 and IL-13 Selective Inhibitors (UMIN000038669), the significance of airway hypersecretion in severe wheezing, the biological mechanism of airway hypersecretion, and the intentional improvement of cough and sputum. The purpose of this study is to induce the development of the disease.(MUC5AC and MUC 5B) Severe wheezing and wheezing Nagoya City University Hospital is conducting a cross-sectional clinical study on the clinical significance of severe wheezing induced by hypersecretion (UMIN 00050456).
