2019年12月新型コロナウイルス感染症(COVID-19)が中国で報告され、世界的な流行となった。COVID-19は新型コロナウイルス(SARS-C0V-2)により引き起こされ、ハイリスクとされる高齢者や基礎疾患を有する患者で重症化・死に至る重篤な疾患である。社会に及ぼす影響は甚大であり、集団での抗体獲得状況などに基づいた包括的な対策が課題であるといえる。抗コロナ抗体には中和抗体である抗S抗体、自然感染を示す抗N抗体が存在する。本研究は、健診受診時の血清の保存検体を用いて、同県の一般住民における感染状況の疫学的な検討をし、対策の基礎的知見とすることを目的とした。2021年度の研究では、まず、2019年からの広島県内の感染波について検討を行い、2020年度の受診時期を2020年8月1日から9月30日に限定した。その中でコロナ前(2016/9-2019/10)の保存血清が残っており、2021年度も続けて受診しているものを対象とし、最終的に758例となった。コロナ前及び2020年度の検体についてS-Total抗体及びS-IgG抗体を測定した。2022年度の研究では、2021年度のS-Total抗体及びS-IgG抗体に加えて、プール法によるN抗体の測定も行った。2021年度検体の測定では、対象758例中、S-Total抗体は494例陽性、S-IgG抗体は486例陽性と、Total抗体例の方が少し多い結果となった。N抗体の陽性例は10例認められたが、カットオフ値付近の陽性も含まれ、明らかな感染によるものかを判定することが必要であると考えられた。2021～22年度を通して、健診時の血清を用いて継続的なS抗体の測定値の変動を疫学的に観察することが可能であった。ウイルス曝露と抗体獲得についてさらに詳しい研究を行い、コロナ対策の基礎的知見とすることが重要であると考えられた。
