本研究は、低中所得国の保健人材が、卒後の継続研修で学んだことの実践レベルでの効果を評価し、効果に影響を与える要因と要因間の関連性、および要因の背景を明らかにすることを目的にしている。健康関連の持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）を達成するためには、保健人材の適正な人数と質（適正な知識や技術）の担保が不可欠でる。保健人材の質の向上には、大学や専門学校等における卒前教育のみならず、卒後の継続教育が必要である。特に低・中所得国の保健医療分野では、非常に多くの様々な継続研修が、世界保健機関（WHO）や日本の国際協力機構（JICA）などの国際援助機関（以下、援助機関）の支援のもと実施されている。しかし、これらの研修は、実施するだけで終わってしまいがちであり、本来重要な研修の効果を科学的に検証したた先行研究は、世界的にも見当たらない。保健人材の質は、特に保健人材自体が非常に少ない低・中所得国においては、国民の健康に大きな影響を及ぼすこともあり、継続研修の効果と、効果に影響を与える要因やその背景を科学的に分析し、エビデンスに基づいた提言を示すことは、世界の人々の健康の実現に大きなインパクトを与えるといえる。今年度は、調査対象国であるモンゴルおよびラオスにて倫理審査をを終え、両国において初年度に開発した質問票を用いて量的データの収集を開始した。また、本研究のデザイン段階で副産物的に考案された系統的レビューが国際誌に出版された（研究成果参照）。

This study evaluated the effects of post-mortem training on health professionals in low and middle income countries, and the relationship between the effects and the main causes, and the background of the main causes. Health related sustainable development goals (SDGs) are achieved and the right number and quality (right knowledge and skills) of health care personnel are guaranteed. The quality of health care personnel is essential for pre-death education, post-death education, etc. The division of health care in China is particularly important for the implementation of support from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and international aid agencies (hereinafter referred to as aid agencies). In the end, the important results of scientific research will be studied in advance, and the world will be seen in the future The quality of health care personnel, special health care personnel themselves, very low, medium income countries, national health, the impact of major factors, research results, the impact of major factors, background, scientific analysis, basic information, presentation, the world's people's health, the implementation of major factors. This year, the investigation will be conducted in the first half of the year, and the investigation will begin in the second half of the year.
