项目摘要

令和4年度（2022年）は、令和元年（2019年）より続く、新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大のため、感染予防を踏まえた上で、研究の実現可能性を高めるための再検討が必要となった。研究方法の主な変更として、研究デザインを横断研究とし、対象者は喘息治療のために小児科に通院する学童期の子どももとその養育者とした。また、調査内容についても、子どもの呼吸機能のデータ収集は、感染予防を確実なものとするため、簡便に実施できるピークフローでの実施に変更した。さらに、webによるアンケートについても、質問項目数の削減等を試みるなど、再検討を行った。調査内容は、1. 対象の属性および背景、2. 喘息のコントロール度と重症度、3. 呼吸機能（ピークフロー）、4. 子どもの自己統制力、 4. 家族機能を測定する。さらに、養育者に、5. 子どもの喘息管理の自己統制力に関するインタビューの実施を依頼することを予定した。上記の変更をふまえ、倫理審査委員会への申請後、プレテスト、対象者の募集、データの収集を実施予定であった。準備を進め、所属大学の倫理審査委員会に申請し、6月に承認を受けた。しかし、再び新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大が生じ、研究実施施設全体の感染コントロールのための来院制限や小児科の来院患者数減少などもあり、データ収集が困難になった。その後、研究の継続推進を目指し、対象者確保のために研究協力施設を変更し、使用尺度についても再検討と確認を行なった。令和5年（２０２３年）5月現在、新型コロナウイルス感染症の収束および５類感染症への移行に伴い、病院外来でのデータ収集の見通しが立ってきたため、新規研究協力施設の大学病院倫理審査委員会に審査を申請中であり、データ収集のための準備を進めている。
