项目摘要

本研究は、中国南昌市の新市区を研究対象地域とし、質問紙調査とインタビュー調査を用いて、都市開発で土地を失い都市に再定住させられた元農民（失地農民）およびその第二世代の社会経済的状況と、それに影響を与える要因を明らかにすることを目的とする。調査・分析の結果、約半数の失地農民は肉体労働や自営業などに従事しており、従来の都市住民との間には、依然として大きな社会経済的格差が存在していることがわかった。また、失地農民の社会経済的状況の影響要因の解明において、主に失地農民の社会関係の役割に着目した。失地農民は再定住団地に集住することで、昔からの濃密な近隣関係を保っていた。再定住団地で継続・再形成された失地農民同士のつながりは、その世帯所得に正の影響を及ぼしているが、失地農民個人の所得や就労状況との関連性は確認されなかった。すなわち、失地農民同士のつながりは維持されたが、失地農民世帯の社会経済的状況の向上に与える効果は限定的であると考えられる。一方で、失地農民と近隣以外の住民とのつながりは、その個人所得と就労状況との間に正の関連性が確認された。失地農民の経済的状況を向上させるため、近隣以外の住民とのつながりを拡大させる重要性を指摘できる。また、失地農民第二世代に関しては、その社会経済的状況と居住状況および両者の関連性について分析した。失地農民第二世代の教育状況や就業率は向上したが、就業の質や所得水準における改善は比較的小さかったことが分かった。また、失地農民第二世代の居住状況（再定住団地から一般住宅団地への転居）は、その社会経済的状況との関連性が確認された。失地農民世帯における社会経済的状況の向上の遅れが、その居住地移動（空間的統合）を妨げる可能性があるため、失地農民世帯の就業や居住モビリティに対する長期的なサポートが求められる。

This study focuses on Xinshi District in Nanchang City, China. The study is aimed at the study area, the investigation application, the urban development, the land loss, the urban re-settlement, the social economic situation of the second generation, the influence and the main cause. According to the results of the survey and analysis, about half of the landless farmers have changed their lives and become self-employed, while the urban residents still have a large social gap. The influence of the social status of the landless peasants depends on the explanation of the social relations between the landless peasants and the landless peasants. The farmers who lost their land were able to gather together and maintain close neighborhood relations. The education status of the second generation of landless farmers, the employment rate, the quality of employment and the income level have improved. The relationship between the living conditions of the second generation of landless farmers (re-settled land, general residential land and housing) and the social economic conditions of the two families is confirmed. The upward movement of the social economic situation of the landless peasants and the movement of their residential areas (spatial integration) are likely to cause problems for the long-term employment and residence of the landless peasants.
