项目摘要

コロナウイルス拡散にともなう水際対策が9月より大幅に緩和されたことから、調査地での研究の実施および海外学会における研究発表、そして、情報交換に力を入れることができた。2021年度および本年度全般に遠隔で続けてきた現地の調査協力者と関係を基礎に、カリキュラムや入試の標準化、そして、大学生や大学教員へのインタビュー調査を2月に台湾で実施するとともに、受験に関わる参考書や暗記方法に関わる資料等を入手するとともに、分析に取組んだ。具体的には、本年度は主に台湾での調査を中心に取組む中で、入試における語呂合わせを含めた暗記手法については、学校の場で非公式に教わる歴史的事象などの暗記法をはじめ、教材や補習班（日本での塾や予備校に相当）における指導、そして、受験生それぞれが編み出す暗記法などがあり、それぞれにおいて台湾における大学の入試制度や教育カリキュラムとつながりあいながら、教員や補習班、そして、学生が戦略的に暗記法を編み出している。学生それぞれが、自分の学習法や受験への姿勢を分析しながら、それぞれにあった暗記手法を模索する中で、共通して学習する内容の特性もあり、複数の学生たちへのインタビューを通じてこのことが顕著になった。ちなみに、本年度は、本研究の内容と分析をAmerican Anthropological Associationの年次大会（2022年11月：査読付き）、および、Society for Applied Anthropology（2023年4月：査読付き）において発表するとともに、隣接分野の研究者および教育実践者と意見交換を行い、最終年度における調査と研究報告論文を含めた執筆に方向性の絞り込みを行った。
