项目摘要

ヒトは他者の行動や自分がおかれている社会的な状況に敏感に反応し、他者と行動や意見を同調させたり、不公平な状況を避けようと試みたりする。このような他者との類似性を好む傾向は、協力的な集団を維持する上で重要な要素になるとされる。他者との類似性を好むこころが進化した原因を探るには多種多様な種間での比較が有効であるが、これまで限られた種での研究しかなされていない。本研究は海という特殊な環境において複雑な社会を形成するハンドウイルカをが同調し公平な個体ほど他者と親和的関係を築いているかを明らかにし、本種が自分と似ている他者を好むのかを検討するものである。２年目の本年度は昨年度に引き続き、他者との意見の同調に関する認知実験、不公平忌避に関する認知実験を実施した。また本年度は、親和行動の機能に関する行動研究も行うことができた。同調に関する実験では、合図によって特定の技を行うよう訓練されたハンドウイルカが異なる技をする際に他者に合わせるかを検討した。本年度は２個体分のデータを収集し、その結果を学会にて発表した。３年目ではさらに実験個体を増やす予定である。不公平忌避に関する実験は、報酬や労力がペア内で異なる際に、不公平を認識したり忌避したりする行動が見られるかを検討した。本年度までに２ペア４個体の実験が終了し、本成果は学会にて発表された。親和行動に関する行動観察では本種が行う複数の親和行動がそれぞれどのような場面で用いられるかを検討し、闘争による緊張を緩和する際に特定の親和行動を行っていることを示唆した。
