本研究は、初級レベルの日本語学習者が日本語で協働に参加することを支援する「協働のための初級日本語教育」の開発に向けた基礎的研究として、以下の二点を明らかにすることを目的とする。一つ目は、日本語母語話者と日本語非母語話者の協働場面において、共通言語としての日本語がどのように使用されているか（どのような文型がどのような機能をもって使用され、どのように協働に貢献しているか）である。二つ目は、初級日本語学習者が主体的に協働に参加するために必要な文型はどのようなものかである。2022～2023年度の研究計画は主に、１）協働場面における会話データ収集と整理、２）収集したデータにおける使用文型の量的分析、２）収集したデータの談話分析、の３点であった。１）に関しては、研究代表者が所属機関で開講する国際共修授業において受講者の協力を得て国内学生と留学生によるグループワークの音声データを収集した。また、音声データの書き起こしを行った。２）に関しては、今年度内に分析を進めることができなかった。次年度に引き続き分析を進めたい。３）に関しては、１）で得られたデータの中から特に文化比較をテーマとした話し合いにおける母語話者、非母語話者それぞれの会話における役割に注目して分析を行った。今年度内に成果発表を行うことはできなかったが、次年度に研究発表を行う予定である。以上の他に、関連学会及び国際共修に関する研修会等に参加し、分析方法や国際共修授業の実施・運営に関する情報収集を行った。
