The aim is to write a commentary on the Kitāb al-Nawāmīs, which in particular examines not only the reception of Antique and Late Antique ideas, but also the effect of this work on the philosophy of Illumination, and investigates the question of how the pseudo-Platonic Book of Laws was interpreted and integrated into the system of Illumination philosophy.
