本研究課題は、大坂の陣後に幕府が実施した平和政策のうち、大坂落人（豊臣方敗残兵）の赦免令について関連史料の収集・分析を行い、発令の経緯と、近世社会に与えた影響を解明するものである。初年度は、落人の赦免令が伝達された（もしくは、その可能性が高い）盛岡南部家（もりおか歴史文化館）・金沢前田家（金沢市立玉川図書館近世史料館）・岡山池田家（早稲田大学図書館所蔵池田家文庫マイクロフィルム）・萩毛利家（山口県文書館）・福岡黒田家（福岡県立図書館）といった外様の大身大名家の文書群をまずは主要な分析対象に設定し、赦免令とそれに関連する史料の調査・撮影を行った。その結果、（１）政権内部においてどのような話合いを経て赦免が決定したか、（２）赦免令に対する大名側の反応、の2点について新たな知見を得ることが出来た。この詳細は次年度以降論文の形で公表する。合わせて、大坂の陣に関わる戦功覚書・軍記の調査も行った。その中でも大坂落人北川次郎兵衛が晩年に記したとされる『北川覚書』は、落人が終戦後いかなる境遇にあったのかをうかがうことが出来る点で注目される。同書は各地に書写本があり、それぞれ脱漏・本文異同がある。そこで、書写本の全体像を把握すべく、国書総目録データベースをもとに各所蔵先を抽出し、今年度はそのうち八戸市立図書館・金沢大学図書館・津山郷土博物館・国文学研究資料館の所蔵本の調査を実施した。その他所蔵館の書写本については紙焼き・デジタルデータを取り寄せた。全ての書写本を入手するには至ってはいないが、善本の全文翻刻および系統分類に着手している。これら作業成果についても、次年度以降史料紹介の形で公表する。その他上記調査成果をもとに、第21回日本ウーマンズヘルス学会学術集会にて、「豊臣家の女性たち、その立場と役割」と題した研究報告を行った。
