まず、2022年度は、調停者介入の相互行為分析を予定していた。分析の際に使用予定の会話分析という手法についてJohn Heritageの論考を参考にして、体系的に整理した。会話分析により解明される制度的会話の会話秩序は、研究者サイドで理論的に構築されたものでなく、会話者たちの生き生きとした実践を通じて会話の内部から生み出されていること、それは会話者たちが会話の中で間主観的理解が維持される仕方でできあがっていることが確認されている。次に、事件処理データの提供を依頼した調停センターにおいて感染症の影響で事件受理を中断する関係で、データ提供を受けることができず、実態調査も行えなかった。そこで、次年度に実施予定の調停者の役割認識の聞き取り調査を前倒しに行なっている。調停実務家への半構造化面接調査を実施し、調停者の役割認識と実際の役割を照合している。調停実務家は、自分の調停者としての役割について、紛争に介入しない仕方で関与していると認識していることが確認されている。しかし、同調停実務家の模擬調停において果たされている役割は、上の役割認識とズレており、実際のところ、自らの調停観に沿った形で当事者たちの紛争状況が変容されるように、介入していることが解明されている。今年度からコロナ政策の変更により行動制限が大幅に緩和され、調停センターでの調停業務の再開、調停件数の回復が見込まれる。今年度も継続的に調停機関への訪問、調停実務交流会への出席などを行い、新たなデータの収集に尽力し、それを元に調停者介入の相互行為を分析する予定である。
