本研究の課題は、①企業誘致政策と企業の立地選択との関係及び、②サプライチェーンを通じて企業立地が地域経済に及ぼす影響の検討である。研究の初年度にあたる2022年度においては、研究実施計画で示していた、（１）企業誘致政策と立地選択に関する分析にとりかかるとともに関連する先行研究のサーベイや分析方法の検討を行う、（２）②で利用する政府統計などのデータ整備を行う、（３）2023年度に企業に対するアンケート調査を実施するために調査票の作成等準備を行う、という3つの作業を予定していた。これらの分析で用いる政府統計など企業個票データの整理および、関連研究の調査については、当初の計画通り進めることができた。ただし、（１）における各自治体の企業誘致施策のとりまとめについては、想定よりも作業に手間がかかることが判明し、年度内に完了させることができなかった。加えて、（３）については自治体担当者の配置換えなどの影響から連携した調査を実施することが困難となった。そのため、調査は実施せず、代替手段として主に政府統計と民間調査会社の収集する企業情報を用いた分析に計画を変更することとした。一方で、①に関連する分析として、過疎地域において実施される企業活動振興策に関しての実施状況の取りまとめおよび、当該政策が地域経済活動に与える影響に関する分析を進めることができた。当該研究については、企業活動に関するアウトカム変数をさらに収集し、分析から得られる示唆を深めたいと考えている。また、今年度以降の学会発表等を通じて、論文の質を高めたうえで雑誌投稿を行う予定である。なお、今年度における業績としては、企業に対する租税特別措置に関する効果の検証に関する分析として、日本財政学会および韓国財政学会において報告を行った。
