项目摘要

2022年度には、本研究のキックオフとして2022年4月29日に第14回国際タイ学会で“The Common Space for the Conflict Resolution Experiment in the Nation‐State Periphery: Case Studies ofThe Three Southern Border Provinces, Thailand, and Okinawa, Japan”をオンライン口頭発表した。2022年8月18～28日に本研究の協力者であるプリンオブソンクラー大学の研究者や本研究に関する国際共同研究協力者のコンケン大学の研究者の研究打ち合わせを行った。2022年12月26日～1月5日にタイ文献資料収集とタイの現在エスニシティ問題について明らかするためにタイ北部のチェンライ県の公務員や少数民族とチェンマイ大学の研究者と意見交換した。2023年3月5～31日に本研究目的2「脱民主的タイの政治的文脈と地域住民の権利を限定する安全保障法と戒厳令が発令されている文脈の中で、なぜ深南部三県ではコンフリクト解決のための『公共圏』の形成のイニシアチブがあるのか、またその『公共圏』のダイナミズムは何か」を明らかにするためにプリンスオブソンクラー大学で研究者や市民社会組織にアンケート予備調査とインタビュー調査を行った。
