これまでの障害者の就労・雇用に関する研究は、雇用（経済又は福祉）と教育に分けて研究が行われてきたが、障害者が安定的な職業を維持するためには、教育的課題に焦点を当てた学校と雇用する側である企業の両方の観点から調査研究を行う必要がある。そのため、本研究では、第一に、障害者のキャリア能力育成を観点に基づき、雇用する側である企業が求める力について文献及びインタビュー調査を行い、学校の教育的課題として育むべき力を明らかにすること（研究①）。第二に、インタビューやアンケート調査を行い、学校が企業に求める障害者に対する配慮等を明らかにすること（研究②）。第三に、上記の研究内容に基づいて障害者の雇用促進及び雇用定着に向け、学校及び採用する企業等の共通言語として使用することを目指したキャリア能力育成評価ツールの開発を行うこと（研究③）を目的とし研究を進めた。令和4年度は、上記の第三の研究のための基礎研究を行った。障害者を雇用する側である企業が求める力や第二の学校が企業に求める障害者に対する配慮等について、国内、国際文献等の分析と通して、次の段階であるインタビュー調査のための質問項目を選定することができた。
