「美術大学で養成しうる教員像とは何か」。これを研究課題の核心をなす問いとし、本研究は生徒の主体的な活動や発言を引き出し、支援する力を備えた美術科教員養成の指導理論、指導方法の検討を目的とする。2019年より新課程が適用された大学の教職課程においては「教職に関する実践力の基礎や新たな教育課程に対応できる力を持った教員の養成」が求められる。「養成しようとする教員像」を明確にもち、組織編成やカリキュラム編成の整備に取り組む必要がある。これに対して美術大学における美術科教員養成の研究は十分に進んでいない。美術大学での教職課程履修者の実態把握をするため、2022年度は学部一年生を中心にアンケート調査を行なった。卒業後の希望進路をたずねるアンケートでは、教員志望者は回答者の約三分の一、約半数は教員を志望するか「どちらともいえない」と回答し、その他教員を志望しない履修者も存在するとわかる。他美術大学でのアンケート結果と比較すると、教職課程の履修理由にも共通点がある。しかし必ずしも教員を第一志望としていなくとも「人とのコミュニケーション能力」や「生徒たちへの接し方」といった「他者（生徒）とのかかわり方」の学修が履修者からも一部求められている実態が見出された。「他者（生徒）とのかかわり方」に関連し、他者との対話（ダイアローグ）における支援者としてのファシリテーターについて文献調査と講演会等への参加を行なった。ワークショップにおけるファシリテーターや、作品鑑賞等におけるファシリテーター（ナビゲーター）の文献及び実践報告等から、対話方法や実践内容は多数あるなかでも「他者との創造的なかかわり方」が要となっていると考えられる。ここから生徒との「創造的なかかわり方」が美術科に求められる教員像の一つではないかという着想を得た。この着想から、論文公開に向けてアンケート調査及び文献調査等を継続する。
