项目摘要

本研究の目的は、マンガ特性を活用した国語教材の開発である。現代の多様式化した情報社会に対応した国語学力の育成を実現させるために、マンガを活用し、メディア特性への気づきをも射程に入れた必然性のある教材モデルを提示し、普及を図る。そのために、三つの目標を設定した。一つ目は、先行実践の整理であり、二つ目は教材の開発であり、三つ目は研究成果の発信である。令和3年度においては、一つ目の先行実践の整理を主として取り組んだ。調査対象は雑誌・図書としたが、該当年度内では、単元学習の理念を持ち、広い範囲の教材を活用した実践を多く報告している『月刊国語教育研究』を調査した。1977年～2022年までの雑誌を調査し、120点余りの、マンガを教材とした実践報告書を収集することができた。これらの実践報告書を目的別に「題材」「表現の手段」「情報の収集」「調査の対象」「創作」「創作の補助」「記録・メモ」「内容の理解」「メディア特性の理解」「学習・教材への興味喚起」「読みの対象」「構成の理解」「その他」に分類し、その内容の特徴と傾向を整理することができた。現在、論文執筆に取り組んでおり、近く学会誌に投稿する計画である。またこれに加え、当該年度には、先行研究の調査とマンガ文化の調査も行った。国語科における先行研究を整理し、マンガ表現論、マンガ文化論等の文献や博物館の情報などから、マンガメディアの特性を理解するための知見を得ることができた。
