人は所属する集団(家族、職場、国)が多いほど自己報告による全体的な自尊感情が高く、主観的な幸福感、人生満足感(well-being)も高いことが知られている。しかし自己報告に拠らない自尊感情、あるいは自己報告であっても様々な側面の自尊感情が所属する集団の数やwell-beingとどのように関係しているのかについてはわかっていない。2022年度は先行研究で潜在連合テストに使われた刺激について文献調査を行った。その結果、自己の能力に関わる語、自己の人格に関わる語、いずれでもないポジティブ感情、ネガティブ感情に関わる語のいずれかの組み合わせを使っている研究が多いことが分かった。また、これらの語を用いた潜在連合テストのスコアと自尊感情の関係を見た研究では、-.05～.20と強い相関は見られず、刺激語ごとの相関係数を示したものは見られなかった。さらに、全体的な自尊感情ではない側面別の自尊感情との関係を調べた研究は見つけられなかった。2023年度は調査を実施し、側面別の自尊感情と潜在連合テストのスコア、そして所属集団の多さがどのように関連するかを検討する。
