By dissecting formalin-fixed cadavers, the mechanical and morphological properties of the hamstrings muscles and aponeuroses have been investigated.1. Differential effects of formalin fixation on cadaveric muscles and aponeuroses were investigated;2. Reliability and validity of the myotonometer in cadaveric studies were examined;3. Morphological distribution characteristics of hamstrings aponeuroses were measured.
