令和4年度は本研究遂行準備として倫理委員会の承認を得て、研究に使用する超音波診断装置や筋電図測定器などの機器の購入および操作方法の確認を行った。まず研究対象に健常者および口腔機能低下症と診断された方をともに取り込む予定のため、予め所属研究機関の倫理委員会の承認を得る必要があった。また実際に被験者取り込みを始める前に、一回のデータ収集をスムーズに遂行するための手技確認や実際に摂食嚥下リハビリテーション手技を実施した際の標準的な超音波画像や筋電図記録がどのような物かの予備調査を行った。この予備調査は今後のデータ収集過程において、正しく目的の運動時記録が出来ているかを判断するために予め実施する必要のある調査であった。実際に使用予定の試験食品嚥下時の超音波画像を確認し、そこから得られるスペクトルから本研究で評価対象とする食品の咽頭通過速度を測定するデータ処理手順の確認を行っていた。また摂食嚥下リハビリテーション手技の負荷を調整しどの程度の負荷であれば訓練として効果が期待できそうかの予備調査を実機を用いて行い、本調査を本格的に実施するための準備を整えた。当初の研究実施計画で令和4年度に行う予定であった健常被験者を開始する直前の段階まで遂行しているが、実際の被験者リクルートはまだ開始できていないため、今後速やかに被験者登録を開始していく予定である。令和5年度では、令和4年度に予定していた健常被験者に加え口腔機能低下症と診断された被験者の取り込みを並行して実施していくことを計画している。
