本研究の目的は、多施設共同臨床試験における治療効果の施設間差の評価において、メタアナリシスに倣った2段階推定の利便性と実用性を検討し、施設間差の評価の実施を奨励することである。本年度（2022年度）はメタアナリシスに倣った2段階推定の利便性と実用性の検討に充てた。前期（4-9月）の期間内に施設間差の評価指標の1段階・2段階推定用の解析プログラムの作成・検証を終え、2手法の比較のためのシミュレーション実験コードの作成も概ね完了し、残りは論文化に際しての細かな検討に伴う微調整を加えるのみとなった。2手法の間で施設間差の評価指標の推定に大きな違いは確認されなかった。2段階推定はメタアナリシスの解析パッケージを使用することで統計専門家以外でも手軽に実装することができ、施設間差の評価の実施を広げることに貢献できる結果が得られたと考えられる。治療効果に施設間差がより生じやすい実践的臨床試験が増えつつある背景を踏まえると、この成果は重要である。後期（10-3月）には類似先行研究の調査を含む論文化準備を進めた。論文投稿先の第一候補は、臨床試験における解析手法をテーマとして扱った論文の掲載が多い「Clinical trial誌」とすることとした。投稿規定の確認を終え、論文ドラフトの作成を進めた。論文の読者層として想定するのは、統計家に限らない臨床医学研究者全般であり、統計学的な事項については専門的になり過ぎず、解析プログラム例もできる限り平易なものを作成した。

The first candidate for paper submission, clinical trial analysis, and publication of the paper are described in "Clinical trial journal". The final confirmation of submission requirements, the preparation of papers The author level of the paper is determined, statisticians are limited to clinical medical researchers, statistical matters are limited to all disciplines, and analytical program examples are easy to write.
