本研究は、厚生労働省の障害福祉サービス検討チームにより、就労支援において有効性が認められた作業療法士に着目し、作業療法士が養成されるカリキュラム背景などをもとに、日本作業療法士協会主催の情報交換会において好事例を報告した作業療法士にインタビュー調査を行うものである。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大の影響により、インタビュー調査の実施に影響が及んだため進捗は遅れている。2023年度より調査ができるよう、研究対象者及びその所属施設と連絡調整をして、現実的に実施可能な内容について検討をした。また、国際医療福祉大学倫理審査委員会に倫理審査の申請をし。2023年3月10日に承認の判定を受けた。（承認番号22-Io-30）カリキュラム背景を整理するために、日本作業療法士協会の元会長、元副会長、元教育部長らと連絡を取り、検討するにおいて重要となる二つの資料を譲り受けた。（厚生省医務局医事課編：理学療法士及び作業療法士法の解説1965年、高木憲次・水野祥太郎・小池文英：機能療法及び職能療法に関する研究1962年）本資料をもとにして、作業療法士の養成教育をはじめ、人材育成をどのように考えるかといった内容で、第56回日本作業療法学会において企画セミナー「就労支援における人材育成－作業療法士はどのような価値を高めるべきか－」を開催し、壇上および来場者と意見交換を行なった。また、国家資格化されるより以前の作業療法士の就労支援への記述を追う目的で、いくつかの資料を調査した。（林暲：松沢病院における作業治療と患者の生活態度との関連について1957年、上村安一郎：精神科作業療法の理論と実際1973年、中井久夫：西欧精神医学背景史1999年、岡田靖雄：日本精神科医療史2009年など）これらより、到達目標としての就労ではなく、治療的目的としての就労という位置付けが作業療法士の支援への観点が明らかとなった。

For the purpose of national qualification, the data of previous occupational therapists on support is investigated.
