恋愛意識と実行動との乖離を解明するため,昨年度作成した,実行動に焦点を当てた尺度を使用して,短期大学生のカップル及び結婚直前のカップルを対象とし,アンケート調査を個人単位ではなくカップル単位で実施した。そして,恋愛行動の規定要因を明らかにするための因果モデルを設定し,調査結果の検証を試みた。それに基づく考察が,1999年8月に台北市の国立中央研究院で開催された第3回アジア社会心理学会(The 3rd Conference of Asian Association of Social Psychology)において発表した"The acceptance of gender role behavior in the romantic love process"である。各国の研究者と意見交換を行い,有益な知見と助言を得て,帰国後,指摘された不備を改め,角度を変えた調査と一層精緻な分析とを進めた。具体的には,恋愛の進展過程において,カップルが遂行する行動や意識が如何に変化するかについて一層詳細な考究を可能ならしめるべく,青年期と結婚直前のカップルの恋愛行動及び意識について,横断的比較検討を行った。その結果は,同年9月に大阪国際女子大学で開催された日本グループ・ダイナミックス学会第47回大会において,「恋愛の進展に伴う行動および意識の変化」として発表された。今後は,これらから導き出された仮説を,現在進行中の縦断的調査結果に照らして検証する所存である。また,そのいわば中間報告として2000年3月に東京女子大学で開催される日本発達心理学会第11回大会において,「恋愛中のカップルにおける性別役割と恋愛意識との関係」として,カップル単位で分析した結果についても報告する運びとなっている。そこでの意見交換の結果を踏まえ所要の修正を施した上で,国際学会誌に投稿する所存である。
